September 2019 market stats

Total home sales in the Mid-Kansas region rose by 21.3% last month to 131 units, compared to 108 units in September 2018. Total sales volume was $17.3 million, up 28.3% from a year earlier. The median sale price in September was $127,250, up from $98,500 a year earlier.

Homes that sold in September were typically on the market for 73 days and sold for 98.1% of their list prices.

The total number of active listings in the Mid-Kansas region at the end of September was 537 units, down from 596 at the same point in 2018. This represents a 4.4 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of September was $119,900.
