The City of Pratt is the county seat of Pratt County, Kansas and is located 78 miles west of Wichita. The County is home to nearly 10,000 residents and close to 7,000 of those live in the City of Pratt.
Pratt is a great community with lots of recreation opportunities, shopping, and more. Highways U.S. 54/400, U.S. 281 and K-61 all run through the City of Pratt, providing great opportunities as a hub for medical, education and recreation in Western Kansas.

There are 8 REALTOR® brokerage companies active in the Pratt area. With nearly 20 agents as members of the Pratt/Barber Council of the Prairie Land Association. In an effort to consolidate resources the Pratt Board of REALTORS® merged with Hutchinson and McPherson Boards to form the Prairie Land REALTORS® association. Agents now have access to lockboxes (a great security and tracking tool for listed properties), more education opportunities and more.
Agents meet together several times a year for lunch and other learning opportunities. And members also work on local advocacy issues and are actively involved in the community.
In 2018 they will continue their Scholarship program and award 3 scholarships to local high school students. In 2017, agents raised money in support of the Fire Pup program as well.
