October Market Snapshot

The real estate market in our area continued to be low on inventory with most areas with 50 percent less active listings than the same time a year ago. This created a 1.6 month supply in Reno County and 2.2 month supply in McPherson County. Pratt and Barber Counties also dropped their active listings and month’s supply from the several months.

Average and Medium prices were up in McPherson and Reno Counties. With Days on Market dropping from a year ago.

For more information about your area and your home specifically, contact a REALTOR in your area. It’s definitely what is commonly known as a “Seller’s Market”. Interest rates also still remain historically low, so it’s a great time for Buyers as well.
