Total home sales in the Mid-Kansas region fell in March to 122 units, compared to 125 units in March 2023. Total sales volume was $24.0 million, up from a year earlier.
The median sale price in March was $158,000, up from $140,000 a year earlier. Homes that sold in March were typically on the market for 19 days and sold for 98.7% of their list prices.
Mid-Kansas Active Listings Up at End of March
The total number of active listings in the Mid-Kansas region at the end of March was 204 units, up from 174 at the same point in 2023. This represents a 1.7 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of March was $175,000.
During March, a total of 130 contracts were written down from 157 in March 2023. At the end of the month, there were 164 contracts still pending.
