Mid-Kansas Home Sales Rose in February
Total home sales in the Mid-Kansas region rose by 4.1% last month to 102 units, compared to 98 units in February 2021. Total sales volume was $14.6 million, up 22.3% from a year earlier.
The median sale price in February was $127,750, up from $95,000 a year earlier. Homes that sold in February were typically on the market for 48 days and sold for 100.0% of their list prices.
Mid-Kansas Active Listings Down at End of February
The total number of active listings in the Mid-Kansas region at the end of February was 131 units, down from 163 at the same point in 2021. This represents a 0.9 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of February was $102,000.
During February, a total of 107 contracts were written down from 143 in February 2021. At the end of the month, there were 146 contracts still pending.
