2020 Market Stats - Jan to April

 

JANUARY

The total number of active listings in the Mid-Kansas region at the end of January was 504 units, down from 510 at the same point in 2019. This represents a 4.0 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of January was $109,900.

FEBRUARY

Total home sales in the Mid-Kansas region rose by 15.3% last month to 98 units, compared to 85 units in February 2019. Total sales volume was $12.9 million, up 13.6% from a year earlier.

 

APRIL

Total home sales in the Mid-Kansas region fell last month to 124 units, compared to 128 units in April 2019. Total sales volume was $15.3 million, down from a year earlier. The median sale price in April was $118,950, up from $113,500 a year earlier. Homes that sold in April were typically on the market for 89 days and sold for 98.9% of their list prices.
The total number of active listings in the Mid-Kansas region at the end of April was 442 units, down from 535 at the same point in 2019. This represents a 3.5 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of April was $114,900. During April, a total of 110 contracts were written down from 143 in April 2019. At the end of the month, there were 174 contracts pending, compared to 185 at the end of April 2019
