July market stats – Activity up overall

Total home sales in the Mid-Kansas region rose by 14.9% last month to 139 units, compared to 121 units in July 2017. Total sales volume was $18.8 million, up 20.9% from a year earlier.

The median sale price in July was $116,500, down from $120,000 a year earlier. Homes that sold in July were typically on the market for 63 days and sold for 98.1% of their list prices.

Total home sales in Reno County rose by 21.3% last month to 74 units, compared to 61 units in July 2017. Total sales volume was $8.7 million, up 17.4% from a year earlier. The median sale price in July was $98,250, down from $110,500 a year earlier. Homes that sold in July were typically on the market for 60 days and sold for 98.8% of their list prices.

In McPherson County, the median sale price in July was $147,000, up from $141,900 a year earlier. Homes that sold in July were typically on the market for 62 days and sold for 97.4% of their list prices.

Total home sales in Pratt and Barber Counties rose by 25.0% last month to 10 units, compared to 8 units in July 2017. Total sales volume was $1.1 million, up 46.6% from a year earlier.
