Our MLS region has distinctively varied markets. Total home sales in the Mid-Kansas region fell last month to 132 units, compared to 142 units in May 2017. Total sales volume was $17.7 million, down from a year earlier. However, Total home sales in McPherson and Marion Counties rose by 22.0% last month to 50 units, compared to 41 units in May 2017. Total sales volume was $7.4 million, up 10.9% from a year earlier and inventory is low. While Reno County experienced few sales, but the average and median prices were up.
