Mid-Kansas Home Sales Rose in March
Total home sales in the Mid-Kansas region rose by 9.1% last month to 108 units, compared to 99 units in March
2015. Total sales volume was $12.5 million, up 13.1% from a year earlier. The median sale price in March was $103,250, up from $89,000 a year earlier. Homes that sold in March were typically on the market for 136 days and sold for 97.5% of their list prices.
Mid-Kansas Active Listings Up at End of March
The total number of active listings in the Mid-Kansas region at the end of March was 556 units, up from 463 at the same point in 2015. This represents a 5.1 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of March was $109,800.
