Mid-Kansas Home Sales Fell in April
Total home sales in the Mid-Kansas region fell last month to 111 units, compared to 115 units in April 2015. Total
sales volume was $13.7 million, down from a year earlier.
The median sale price in April was $109,000, up from $99,900 a year earlier. Homes that sold in April were
typically on the market for 92 days and sold for 96.8% of their list prices.
Mid-Kansas Active Listings Up at End of April
The total number of active listings in the Mid-Kansas region at the end of April was 586 units, up from 460 at
the same point in 2015. This represents a 5.3 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price
of homes on the market at the end of April was $102,450.
During April, a total of 133 contracts were written up from 119 in April 2015. At the end of the month, there
were 178 contracts pending, compared to 139 at the end of April 2015.
